The Adey Tsegaye Foundation (ATF)

 

The Adey Tsegaye Foundation (ATF) is dedicated to advancing healthcare excellence in Ethiopia through collaborative partnerships and initiatives. Guided by the legacy of Dr. Adey Tsegaye, ATF will collaborate with hospitals and medical schools in Ethiopia, focusing on Pulmonary and Critical Care and fostering innovation, education, and access to specialized medical resources. Our mission is to cultivate a healthier tomorrow by empowering Pulmonary expertise and resources. ATF’s first goal to donate a bronchoscope to a teaching hospital in Ethiopia was successfully accomplished. The machine purchased by ATF is currently in use at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Teaching Hospital in Addis Ababa, the hospital, the largest public hospital in the country.  On this second year, ATF will be raising funds for a service plan to ensure the logevity of the bronchoscope. The foundation will also sponsor trainee awards, facilitate partnerships and support other initiatives honoring Dr. Tsegaye and her commitment to compassionate care and global health.
